Worth the wait!

It’s a real exciting time here, Integrity started feeding us some prototypes and pre-production samples and they look F’n great! I know it’s taken a lot longer then anticipated to get them, but it’s worth the wait. If any of you made it out to surf expo last month then you saw what I’m talking about. the details and thought that Erich puts into my designs definitely recharged my batteries! If you look as the pic of our Clear graphic CW-425, you can see how technical the boards are. It was so awesome to see the addition of urethane heel shock pads to the cores. This was an idea I had last year and bam! Erich threw it in there. We’ve ridden the boards and it’s this little extra details that make the boards sooo good! There’s still quite a bit of work to do to get boards into production, but we are feverishly working on them, it’s going to be a very busy winter!

Other good news is we are preparing for hitting the market come spring. We just moved into our new bigger warehouse/office. We remained in the same building but took over the largest suite. We’ll have plenty of room now for the arrival of the board inventory as well as we added bigger and better screen printing equipment. The best thing is we’ve added more office space 4x the size! No more stumbling over each others crap. We even have rooms dedicated to the wide format printer and vinyl cutter and dedicated space to permanently set up the photo studio!

Overall the stoke is super high here, we are preparing to make our mark come spring with some real innovative, great riding quality boards. We appreciate your patience and understanding for following our start up. it’s been mostly a rough time but passion leads to perseverance! Perseverance can only lead to success.

Well after weeks of hard work, the new website is live. I have to say my stress level is going to go down a whole lot….We still have a couple tweaks we need to do but it’s looking pretty dang good. The board line being shown is the 2012 We decided to put the wakeboards up even thought they are still in development or in various stages of production. We wanted to let everyone know what we have coming out over the next few months. So keep an eye out. All the apparel is in stock and ready to ship and the Vests & Ropes are arriving from the factories at any moment.

So, if you guys have kept up with us on the old blog or Facebook, then you know it’s been a rough go for us but we are pushing thru! We’ve had some small setbacks but overall the stoke is pretty high here. The web guy we hired and paid to build our site bailed on us(par for the course), so Tarek and I dug into it pretty hard and got it built in a few weeks. There’s still some tweaking to be done especially in the Team section so keep checking back for updates.Also, if you guys find any bugs with the site, let me know! ray@phalanxwake.com

On the product side, We now have a full inventory of Apparel, most of which is printed in house here in Idaho! Our Vests and Ropes are on their way to us from the factories. We’ve rec’d a pre-production CW425 not long ago and it looked awesome! It took a few months longer then anticipated but Integrity has the new CNC router table up and running. She’s pretty much dialed in and in the process of cutting molds and tooling for our boards. We have a lot of great ideas in the mix, some are even in the patent pending process! it’s all about innovation here! I’ll be honest there’s some R&D that needs to be done but it’s looking like the product line I had hoped for. If you’ve poked around the website you saw we added the boards to the website even though they aren’t 100% in production but we wanted everyone to see what we have going for late summer delivery!

We’ve picked up a few International distributors as well. Check out our dealer section to find out where we are. These guys have been great so far, pumped on the brand and our approach to the sport! Please contact these guys for more information. For you USA guys, hit your local shop, let them know you are interested in our gear and tell them to contact us for information.

Ricky has been busy running around the country riding in events and photo shoots. He’ll be at the Louisiana Spring fling this weekend and BroStock later in the month. We had Joey Meddock do a shoot with Ricky last month and the shots are great. For those of you that subscribe to wake journal then you’ve seen our ads, if you don’t subscribe please do. Joey thought outta the box and came up with a great digital wakeboard magazine. This outta the box thinking gives brands like us an opportunity to advertise and not go bankrupt while doing it!
