What Is Covered

The warranty extends for a period of 12 months following the date of the original retail purchase as evidenced by proof of purchase on all Wakeboards, Ropes/Handles, Vests, and Bags. 30 days on apparel and 90 days for any factory defective boards constructed of predominantly wood materials. Issuance of a Return Authorization (“RA” or “RMA”) shall not constitute acceptance by PHALANX Inc of warranty claim. On arrival and inspection of RA product PHALANX Inc will, at its option, repair or replace defective parts and components, including labor.

What Is Not Covered

Cost of RA Product shipped to PHALANX Inc. Normal wear and tear including scratches, nicks, and fading. Damage caused by alterations, modifications or changes not approved by PHALANX Inc in writing, due to unauthorized service and/or repairs, or due to abuse, improper use, neglect, or failure to perform normal maintenance. Damage caused by extended exposure to sunlight, misuse or accidents such as dock slides, Beach starts, striking solid objects, (including damaged screw mounts, lost fins), standing on fins while on hard surface, tow rope handle striking product, etc, and failure to follow

instructions provided with the product. The validity of damage or any like situation reports are at the discretion of PHALANX Inc, warranty personnel. Any Sales outside the United States. Any damages caused by sliders or rails. Do not Slide your board on any Slider/Rails if you want to keep your warranty. There are no exceptions to this rule…… Even Slider/Park boards are NOT covered under warranty from damage due to sliders or impacts to any foreign objects. PRODUCTS USED IN COMMERCIAL, RENTAL OR INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS. CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OR EXPENSES, INCLUDING DAMAGES TO PROPERTY. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

How To Obtain Warranty Service

PHALANX Inc warranty claims must be handled through an authorized PHALANX wakeboard dealer and MUST BE RETURNED POSTAGE PAID WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE and include a RA#. Warranty returns are claims for warranty coverage only and do not constitute an agreement by PHALANX INC to accept the warranty claim. Return authorizations are for inspection purposes only. Disposition will be determined by our warranty department.

Implied Warranties

Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be limited to the duration and terms of the limited warranties expressed herein. Some states do not allow how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. To the extent any provision of this warranty is prohibited by federal, state, or local law and can not be preempted, it shall not be applicable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
